Program:  The History of the Annandale Improvement Club

Jill Bishop and Rose Mary Nelson have researched the history of the Improvement Club.  They will give us the reasons that we are still going strong after a century. Reservations for the October winery tour will be taken at this meeting.

October 1, 2009

Program:  The Millner Heritage Winery - Don and Mary will tell  about the family of wine makers descending from the heart of Europe, now making wine in the heart of Minnesota .  We will have our meeting and lunch followed by tour and wine tasting.  Tour is $7, wine tasting is $3, and lunch cost is $13. This is limited to 54 participants. Reservations for the High Tea at the Westman-Hankerson home will be taken at the October and November meetings.

November 5, 2009

Program: Jerene Mortenson - the mother of Greg Mortenson, the author of 3 Cups of Tea.  Jerene will share with us the journey of her son building schools in Afghanistan and Pakistan .  She will share her part in his journey. Reservations for the High Tea at the Westman-Hankerson home will be taken at this meeting.
