Meeting Minutes 8-3-2005

Pleasant Lake Improvement Association Board meeting. Aug 3, 2005

Present:   Chair Sedey, V Chair Markstrom, Treasurer Ashwill, Sec Peterson, Board K Lundeen, V Lundeen

Past meeting minutes approved.

Treasurers Report:   Savings $5,617  Checking $3,486  

Checks needed for City for rent of pavilion, $150.00 & damage deposit for $200.  We will get the damage deposit money back if we do no damage.

89th Street up-date at next general meeting pertaining to blacktop, petition,etc.  from Tab Ashwill.

Property discussed pertaining to junk will be directed to the  township by Chair Sedey.

Directory printing will be followed up by Sec. Peterson

Election of officers and board members will be completed at Aug 20th meeting. Possible board members will be approached prior to the meeting.  Voluntees will also be asked for at the meeting. 

Rep. Urdahl, Commissioner Heeter, Township board member Judd, City Rep, & CRWD Rep Anderson,  will be invited to the general meeting.

Installing signs for landings pertaining to lake milfoil weeds will be discussed.

DNR/MnPCA monitoring program update to membership at Aug 20th meeting.

Pleasant Lake tee shirts, sweat shirts, & polo shirts will be presented at the general meeting and orders will be taken. 

V Chair Markstrom will invite a Rep from a company that treats lakes for weeds to the Aug meeting.

Approx 1/2 of the abandoned dock has  been removed.   VChair Markstrom will contact owner and see if remainder will be removed or if the association needs to help.

Notice will be sent out to all proterty owners on the lake of the Aug 20th meeting and picnic.

Jill Bishop will be asked to be the editor of  a lake newsletter.

Meeting notice, Picnic invitation & Membership Form reviewed and adopted.

Dues are set for $15 for 2006.
