Reports:

Youth First: Pam and Mary reported on Youth First.  Reports will be sent by mail to members not in attendance.  During Youth First Report, Jeff Herr noted that he would be available to do presentations on drug and alcohol prevention.  Mary will talk to Tim Prom about Middle School presentations.

WCFSC: We received payment #35 in the amount of $3,344.48.  This will likely be the last payment we receive, as the Time Study will end June 30, 2008.  Any future payments have been designated to pay back money owed to the Federal Department of Human Services.  We do not know if summer programming through the Collaborative will continue yet this summer.  This will be discussed at Collaborative Meeting in April.

Old Business:

Coordinators Job Description:  Mary wrote job description for members information.  Paul suggested that the Executive Committee meet with Pam and Mary to discuss upcoming budget shortfall in regard to Youth First programs.  Motion was made by Jeff Lundquist, second by Jeff Herr for Paul to set up this meeting.  Motion carried.

Brochure Update:  Nicole and Mary presented revised Youth First brochure and sent around the room for members to critique.  Nicole will ad a sentence about including Youth First in estate plans.  Mary will get Nicole a testimonial from a student to include.  Paul will print 400 color brochures for the Expo.  The paper and color printing is a donation from the Annandale State Bank.

Business Expo:  Mary reported that Mike Zieska said there is not enough power to serve popcorn at our booth.  We will have tattoos instead.  Mary is working on a slide show, set to music to run during the Expo.  Youth First Board Members were asked to sign up for a time that they can help at the booth.  Paul Manuel is getting a donation of a raffle item for Youth First at Expo.

New Business:

Targeted Services Money:  Mary met with School Business manager, Rick Pullin, to determine possible funding available for our after-school programs through Targeted Services.  In addition to the salary Pam receives through Targeted Services, there was up to $5,000 in additional money that might be available.  Mary will look into this in coming weeks.

Next meeting: April 21, 4:00 PM at City Hall.

Meeting adjourned at 5:05 PM.
