Weed control:   Markstrom reports that a total of $4,200 was paid out by the Association to lake Restoration last season for weed control on the west end of the lake.   A marked improvement was reported by many and a repeat of the program will take place this coming Spring.   We hope to bring the City and County into this program.   The County Parks program is looking at our request for funds after an initial visit by Chair Sedey and the City will be approached  at the Dec. Council meeting.  Sec. Peterson will ask to be put on the agenda. Markstrom will inform Lake Restoration that the Association will pay the permit costs for all property owners again.  This will save each owner $40.

Clean Water grant has  been requested by Chair Sedey and Markstrom to the County who will administer any moneys  between 8 local  lakes.   We are on their list but they have not yet received any  money .

Secchi disk readings for this past season went from 10 feet to 4 feet, this is a normal range.  Water quality was good and lacked foul odors, scums, or heavy algae.

Hwy 24 project is still scheduled for Spring 2007 startup.

Loon habitat project will attempt to get bedding materials on the raft this winter.  Iverson will coordinate this project.

V Chair Obinger will publish a newsletter and Chair Bayer will print it.  Frequency will be determined by amount of news and interest. Sponsors and advertisements will be discussed at a later. Cost  should be mailing only.

Dues for 2007 set at $25.  Increase is due to  the weed control program.  Notices will be sent out in Dec to all home owners.  Dues will be from January  thru December of each year.

Boat parade for the 4th of  July celebration will be coordinated thru Bonnie and  Dean Hogland.  The parade will continue to be on the 3rd of July if OKd by the Chamber.

Lake shirts will be printed and sold by local merchant. Obinger will negotiate percentage Association will earn from each sale.
