Board Meeting 
Minutes - June 18, 2011

Present:   Chair Sedey, Secretary Peterson, Directors Warner, Hable, Mader, Bayer.

Not Present:  VChair Hogberg, Treasurer Arfsten, Directors Lundeen, Froehlich 

Treasurers Report:  Denny Arfsten sent current status showing balance of $7,815.

Membership:   Chairperson Julie Sedey show 73 paid members.  Review will be completed to remind unpaid past members of status.  Reminder will also be mentioned in Aug news letter.

Boat parade:   July 3, 7 pm Parade brochure will be hand delivered to lake residents.  Remaining funds will be used to purchase lake merchandise from Annandale Embroidery.  Warner will ask local paper to place parade information in community section.  J & J Marine will furnish boat for Queen and Royal Court  parade judges . Trophies for 1^st,2^nd,&3^rd places.

Water Level:   Watershed District has not opened the drain for over a month now.  Flow into and out of the lake appears to be equal.  Committee may be needed to address future concerns and keep culverts open. 

Point Intercept Vegetation Survey:   Committee has selected Wenck to do the lake mapping for $3,200.  The 1^st survey will be completed this coming Tuesday and they will return late summer for the 2^nd.   Wench works with Clearwater Watershed Dist and comes highly recommended. Their findings will be used to access future Legacy funds.

News Letter:   Editor Warner reviewed topics for Aug addition:   Donation acknowledgements and pictures by Bayer, Lundberg home by Hable,  Water level by Bayer, Party by Mader,  Publisher/Printer Dave and Nancy Haugland recommend a 4 page paper with brochure inserts.  Papers will be hand delivered by board members.

Lake party:   Director Mader will chair a committee for a family friendly  party scheduled for Aug 27^th.  Location, activities, costs, etc. to be determined & reported back to board prior-to or at the Aug 6^th  Board mtg.

Weed treatment:   Peterson will research companies to get comparable cost of services we presently use.  We have used Lake Restoration, Inc. of Rogers Mn. for the past 6 years.

Board Meeting:   Set for Aug 6, 9:30 Chairman Sedey’s home.
